ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Provides all activities related to the administration of computerized databases. Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with others working EPoS applications. Designs, creates, and maintains databases in required environments. Conducts quality control and auditing of databases in required environments to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data. Advises users on access to various databases. Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods. Applies knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end/back-end programming languages. Performs database programming and supports systems design. Includes maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design. Database designing development and management to include, but not limited to: Web Services/XML, materialized views, performance tuning, and database modeling Data engineering or management of data warehouses with multiple environments with multiple sources of inbound data Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.','!*!Certification(s) in one or more database management or information technology is highly desired. Minimum of 6 database management. Ability to work with senior leadership. Able to be highly productive and self-driven in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Team player, who is flexible and responsive to emerging client needs.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field. Minimum of 6-8 years of database management experience. Strong customer focus with the ability to work with technical teams and business users. Familiarity with cost estimating models, modeling and simulation principles, and operations research methods, particularly with statistical data analyses. Experience with ABC software, such as Oracle/Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management. Creating, deploying, and executing database scripts and stored procedures as well as in creating, maintaining and optimizing application database table, triggers, materialized views, configurations and interfaces. Executing data migration tasks to include ETL tasks. Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes for application controls. Working knowledge of Activity Based Costing (ABC). Experience with system implementations. Experience conducting stakeholder analyses. Ability to execute tasks independently with minimal guidance from senior management. Ability to interact with client personnel at employee, management and leadership levels. Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.U.S. citizenship may be required.
