Boston-based not-for-profit hospital and physicians network that includes two of the most prestigious teaching institutions in the United States, is looking for a top-level Database Administrator. This position will be responsible for all aspects of their existing database including designing, testing, updating, administering, monitoring, and securing the data model and its corresponding structure. Principle duties involve performance monitoring, capacity planning, and vendor evaluation, as well as ensuring data integrity, executing backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills & Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5 years database administration experience (2 years with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014) in a networked environment including knowledge of complex SQL commands and structures
Epic certification, in one or more applications, encouraged
Expert knowledge of Relational Database Systems: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012, and 2014
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong management skills
