Perspecta has an immediate need for a Configuration/Data Management Analyst
â€“ in Washington, D.C. Area.
Under direct supervision, has duties of instructing,directing, and checking the work of other technical staff.
Review design documents and ensure technicalspecifications and designs are correct.
Perform all functional duties independently.
Work on high-visibility programs or mission criticalaspects of assigned program(s).
Oversee the efforts of direct reporting resourcesand/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specificjob.
Responsible for the completion of assigned engineeringprojects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Lead technical staff assigned for the duration of aproject or may function as ongoing lead for technical staff associatedwith one or more technical areas.
Does not have formal supervisory responsibilities,although may provide input for (project) team member performanceappraisals.
A degree from an accredited
College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related
discipline is preferred.
A minimum of ten (10) years experience in software developmentand/or related field.
Able to perform all functional duties independently onhigh-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of a given program.
Able to oversee the efforts of direct reportingresources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to aspecific job.
Experience training, mentoring, and providing technicaldirection to less experienced personnel.
Extensive experience with designing, coding, testing,debugging and documenting software solutions to complex problemsconcerning computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time andform of desired results.
Extensive experience analyzing complex businessapplications, developing block diagrams and logic flow charts, andtranslating detailed design into software.
Extensive experience with performance tuning softwareto reduce execution time or improve efficiency.
Extensive experience authoring or contributing to bothprogram-level and user-level software-related documentation such asrequirements specifications, design documents, technical manuals, and usermanuals.
Excellent communication skills.
