As part of a small IT team, the DBA will be part of an energetic, highly collaborative group. On this team technical depth and expertise are appreciated as well as a willingness to learn new skills to support coverage in other areas when needed. Our IT group takes as much pride in our technical capabilities as we do in our high level of customer service.
The District is looking for a senior DBA to join our Information Systems group. This DBA will play a lead role in managing, configuring, designing, and securing the data systems that support the district's business and operations.
Degree from an accredited college or university with a major emphasis in an information systems related area;
Prefer 5-7 years of experience in a database administrator role, supporting mostly a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Knowledge and experience installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases. Similar experience with Oracle databases is highly desired.
