Work you'll do/Responsibilities

The SQL team does end to end care of a large-scale enterprise MS SQL Servers

Help the application teams and developers with requests for anything from new users/roles to standing up an entire new clustered instances that is fully compliant with security standards.

Actively support our internal IT teams as well as our government clients performing regular maintenance/patching for a wide variety of MS SQL server deployment.

Work with several on prem and cloud MS SQL Servers that we support.

The Team

Our Government & Public Sector Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.

Government & Public Sector Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience

Must have an Active Top-Secret Clearance or completed and SSBI background check

4 years of SQL database Administration and troubleshooting

4 years of SQL database Migrations

Cloud administration skills in OCI, AWS or Azure

Patching with clustering and standalone SQL instances

SQL Audit Logs

STIG standards

Experience with AD users and permissions

Familiarity with Cloud - Maintenance & Administration

Familiarity with any Virtualization software

Familiarity with ITIL

Experience using SNOW

Experience with large-scale enterprise MS SQL Server

Experience with Windows systems engineering

Basic Networking and storage knowledge

Travel up to 20% annually (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)

Prefer to have a Security Certification
