Analyze business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer s specifications. Write custom reports and exports, and make modifications to the solution to meet customer's needs. Assist with end-user training and take the hotel live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Mentor and develop lower level Implementation Consultants. May assist in a presales capacity to help drive sale.
5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to area of focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Job Description *
Senior level Implementation Consultant who analyzes customer needs, configures the solution, and installs the product at the customer site. Our Implementation Consultants also provide client training on system overview and maintenance.
Our Implementation Consultants ensure that our
solutions meet all of the specifications and functions that are unique to each of our Hospitality clients. Implementation Consultants resolve any gaps in Product functionality and train our clients how to use the new product. They are also responsible for taking the client live on the system after everything has been configured. Implementation Consultants are accountable for ensuring a smooth transition and positive user experience. They are available to answer technical questions during the implementation process and after go-live. This role requires 5-7 years of overall experience in an applicable role as an IT or* PMS Deployment Engineer* or as an experienced user of the
Opera Property Management or similar products
. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. This position requires travel. The
travel up to 60%
which can include weekends and holidays is a must. Candidates can be based anywhere in the Continental US close to a large, metropolitan airport. Training in the Opera Products will be provided at our Columbia, Maryland location.
Preference is given to individuals which have the below skills and knowledge:
2 years or more experience working in the Hospitality Industry (Hotels and Restaurants)
Experience installing Oracle RAC Systems (11G)
Experience configuring Data Guard (11G)
Prior management or supervisor experience
Technical experience as it relates to installing Hardware and troubleshooting that Hardware
Knowledge of Linux operating systems
