Installation, maintenance and tuning of MySQL software.
Creates and administers MySQL databases;
Performs database and transaction log backups, notifications, and database replication between multiple MySQL Servers
Supports software developers in creation of stored procedures and SQL commands to properly create, retrieve, update and delete data in MySQL databases;
Qualifications:
Experience developing and maintaining MySQL databases;
Experience with Linux;
Experience performing database administration on high availability production systems.
Familiarity with securing database objects, users and the database infrastructure;
Familiarity with Subversion software configuration management/source control systems;
Experience testing of databases for performance, scalability and flexibility;
United States Citizenship is required for this position
